Campion Cottage is a charming holiday cottage available to rent all year round. It is located in the stunningly picturesque Cotswold village of Willersey.
This bijou stone-built mid-19th century cottage sleeps 4 adults. It has off-street parking, front & rear gardens and is ideally placed for exploring the breath-taking villages and towns of the Cotswolds, the beautiful Vale of Evesham … and beyond.
The cottage offers high quality accommodation and is a perfect base for exploring the local area. There's lots to see and do with many idyllic towns, villages and historic properties just on the doorstep. Relaxing countryside walks with panoramic views are also within easy reach.
Set in a Cotswold's "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty", and having won the prestigious UK's Best Kept Village award in previous years, the village of Willersey still maintains a tourist-free air. It has two traditional pubs that offer food, plus a well-stocked village shop.
Dating back to the mid 1800s, Campion Cottage is a typical Cotswold stone cottage. It has two double bedrooms and is suitable for up to four adults. The cottage has recently been refurbished throughout and offers comfortable and relaxing holiday accommodation.
The cottage has high pressure hot water with electric heating throughout. It also has a wood-burner in the lounge for cosy autumn and winter nights. There is also free Wi-Fi. and a landline for incoming calls (the mobile signal inside the cottage isn’t great - it is the countryside and the walls are VERY thick!)
The space comprises:
A living room … a cosy space with two double sofas, a wood-burner, Smart TV with Netflix/on-demand apps and a radio with iPod dock/Bluetooth.
A kitchen/dining room … complete with a dining table and four chairs, an AEG oven and induction hob, compact dishwasher, a microwave, larder fridge, freezer and washing machine. An iron, ironing board and folding airer/dryer are also provided.
Two bedrooms … each having a double bed with pocket sprung orthopaedic mattress plus clothes storage.
A recently re-fitted bathroom … this includes a walk-in shower which, together with the sink, have Grohe fittings.
Outside ... At the rear of the cottage, set beyond a communal path shared by my neightbours, is a south-facing patio garden to the rear, with table & chairs. Louvre timber divide panels create a sense of privacy.
At the front of the cottage is a separate charming gated lawned garden with seating for four.
Off-road parking is also provided for one car, plus there is plenty more parking space on the main road directly in front of the cottage.
Bed linens and towels are provided, as is an initial supply of logs and all electricity.

Sorry pets and smoking are not allowed at Campion Cottage. Please note that the cottage has low doorways, so tall people get ready to duck! Also, due to steep stairs and the high-sided bath, the cottage is not suitable and those with limited mobility. It is also not suitable for infants/very young children.
Campion Cottage is situated in the heart of Willersey, a small village on the northern edge of the picturesque Cotswolds, bordering the Vale of Evesham. It is about 6 miles from Evesham and easily accessed by car from the M5, A424, A46 and the A429 (the Fosse Way).
With excellent public transport links, the cottage can be enjoyed without the need for a car. There is a nearby train station at Honeybourne (with direct services to London, Oxford and Worcester) plus buses from the village to Broadway, Evesham, Cheltenham, Moreton-in-the-Marsh and Stratford-upon-Avon.
In Willersey there are two pubs: the Bell Inn and New Inn. Both serve food at reasonable prices. Only a couple of miles away is the vibrant village of Broadway with its newly open Broadway Ashmolean Museum (an offshoot of the famous Oxford institution) as well as shops, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs.
A little further is Chipping Camden which is walkable, if you are of a sturdy constitution and are happy to tackle a steep hill. Evesham is short journey away, and there you will find the nearest large supermarkets. It is also a picturesque market town in its own right.
